Free Entrance Days at National Parks for 2021
Good news. Some National Parks have reopened, but do have specific guidelines and rules for keeping you and your family safe during your visit.
Look to see if there is a National Park near you that has reopened. Please check the park’s guidelines and rules for keeping your family and you safe.
Come experience the national parks! On six days in 2021, all National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone. Mark your calendar for these entrance fee-free dates in 2021:
- January 18: Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr.
- April 17: First day of National Park Week
- August 4: One year anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act
- August 25: National Park Service Birthday
- September 25: National Public Lands Day
- November 11: Veterans Day
The entrance fee waiver for fee-free days does not cover amenities or user fees for activities such as camping, boat launches, transportation, or special tours.
