Childhood Cancer Research Fundraiser: Raise Money with Alex’s Lemonade Stand
Register to help ALSF benefit childhood cancer research! My daughter hosted a charity lemonade stand, and raised $100 for cancer research! We are so proud of her, and she was thrilled to do such a great thing! If you’re not familiar, be sure to read about it in the link above. It’s a wonderful charity started by a little girl named Alex. During Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation’s (ALSF’s) annual fundraiser, supporters from coast to coast hold lemonade stands to raise funds for childhood cancer research. Alex always held her lemonade stand during the first week of June. So, Lemonade Day is always then, to honor Alex and all of our childhood cancer heroes. As a bonus – each Lemonade Days stand host receives a special edition Lemonade Days fundraising kit. The fundraising kit has included coupons for free lemonade mix, a free wooden spoon to stir lemonade, free Auntie Anne’s pretzel coupons, a copy of Alex’s Lemonad Stand children’s book, printed materials such as posters, banners, thank you notes, and more. You’ll also get an online webpage to accept donations!
See the difference we can make, in one weekend, together!?
What is Alexs Lemonade Stand?
Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alexandra “Alex” Scott (1996-2004). In 2000, 4-year-old Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer. Since Alex held that first stand, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a national fundraising movement, complete with thousands of supporters across the country carrying on her legacy of hope.
