If you’ve picked up snacks at 7-Eleven convenience stores or gas stations, then don’t miss this! Because, the manufacturer of 7-Eleven snacks has voluntarily recalled some of these munchies for a dangerous mistake.
Why are 7-Eleven Snacks Being Recalled?
The manufacturer, Mount Franklin Foods LLC dba Azar Nut Co., El Paso, Texas, makes some 7-Eleven brand snacks. And, they are voluntarily recalling the 5-ounce packages of 7-Select Yogurt Pretzels, because they may contain undeclared peanuts. After all, people with peanut allergies run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. And, the products do not state that they may contain nuts.
Which 7-Eleven Products are Recalled?
The 7-Select Yogurt Pretzels comes in a 5-ounce, printed plastic pouch and is marked with lot number YR20140 Best By May 19, 2021, and JT20147 Best By May 26, 2021, on the bottom front left of the bag. And were distributed nationwide in more than 9,300 of the 7-Eleven c-store chain locations.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this alert.
What Should You Do?
Consumers who have purchased 5-ounce packages of “7-Select Yogurt Pretzels” with the above indicated lot numbers printed, are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 1-800-351-8178, M-F 8am – 5pm MT.
