You’re included if you had a Yahoo account. Yahoo accounts include traditional Yahoo email accounts, as well as accounts on other sites that were owned or operated by Yahoo during the relevant time period. Those sites include Yahoo Fantasy Sports, Yahoo Finance, Tumblr, and Flickr.
Who is eligible for a refund?
You’re eligible if you had a Yahoo account between January 1, 2012, and December 31, 2016; or were sent a notice concerning the Data Breaches announced in 2016 and/or 2017.
Is a receipt required?
No receipts are needed.
How much will I get back?
The amount of the Alternative Compensation payments is $100.00. That amount could decrease if the amount of all valid claims exceeds the amount of the Settlement Fund, or the payment could increase to as high as $358.80.
What’s the deadline to file?
Deadline to file a claim is July 20, 2020
When will I get my check?
Credit Monitoring Services claimed by Settlement Class Members will begin, and payments for valid claims will be made, after the Settlement becomes final. This process may take longer than one year. Please be patient.
