U-Haul Giving Free Self-Storage to College Students
If someone’s displaced due to school closing, then get in on this! The coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak continues to disrupt, and U-Haul is stepping forward with an offer of goodwill to college students affected in the U.S. and Canada.
U-Haul President John “JT” Taylor announced that they’ll give 30 days of free self-storage! This applies to storage facilities owned and operated by U-Haul.
So, if you’re a college kid impacted by sudden schedule changes and closures, this is for you! The free month applies to new customers with college IDs and is a limited-time offer subject to availability.
“We don’t know how every student is affected. But we know they are affected,” said Taylor. “More and more universities are giving instructions to leave campus and go home. Students and their parents are in need of moving and storage solutions. We have the expertise and network to help, and that’s exactly what we’re going to do.”
You may not know, but U-Haul offers 30 days of free self-storage to those impacted by a natural disaster. However, this is the first time they’ve done it company-wide.
College students affected by schools suddenly closing can store their stuff free thanks to U-Haul.
