Which Dunkin’ Donuts Are Closing? 800 Locations Nationwide
Dunkin’ – the restaurant formerly known as Dunkin Donuts – announced that they’re closing 800 locations nationwide. Dunkin’ was not able to confirm a list of locations that may be closing by the end of this year 2020. However, they did say they’re closing underperforming locations. These closures include all 450 Speedway gas stations and convenience store locations.
Dunkin’ has more than 11,300 Dunkin’ restaurants worldwide – that’s over 8,500 restaurants in 41 states across the U.S.A. and over 3,200 international restaurants across 36 countries!
“We are assessing our real estate portfolio and working with our franchisees to permanently close off-strategy, low volume sales locations. Earlier this year that we expected to close 450 Speedway self-serve kiosk locations during fiscal 2020, representing less than 0.5 percent of system-wide sales.” – Newsweek
Of course, when the list becomes available we will update this!
